While the sharing process is different than a typical insurance bill processing system, it’s easy and extremely encouraging!  When you have a medical need where the bills in total exceed the initial $300, you will simply ask your provider about any cash pay patient discounts that they offer and then ask them to send you an itemized bill for the services they provided.  When you receive the bills, you send them to Samaritan Ministries along with a form that helps them process your medical need quickly.  This can be done through the mail or you can do this online. Once your need is submitted, Samaritan staff will verify the information and prepare it for sharing.  Your need will be assigned to specific members who will be informed on their Monthly Share Notice to send their monthly share directly to you, pray for you and send a note of encouragement.  Once you receive the shares you will then pay your provider directly.
