While the switch from health insurance to Healthcare Sharing was a little scary at first, we have come to believe that Sharing is not only an alternative to insurance but it’s also a lot BETTER than insurance!  For starters, with Biblical Healthcare Sharing we have the comfort of knowing the shares we send will never be used for procedures out of line with our values.  Sharing also promotes growth in good stewardship for each member, accountability to the Church and fellow members, and greater trust in God.  Sharing is much more affordable than the typical insurance plans currently available in the marketplace and since it is not tied to an employer it is a great fit for many families in our current economy where there is less job security and increasing numbers of self-employed and small business owners.  The personal aspects of sharing are also a great added bonus.  Knowing that we are being held up in prayer by fellow members as well as Samaritan Staff is a huge blessing!
